Our Purpose
To benefit children in southeast Michigan who are at-risk, in-need or who have been through an unfortunate situation by surprising them with a specially decorated space of their own to dream, create, be inspired and feel special.

AS2D For Breiana
On Saturday July 23, 2011, AS2D and 12 of its volunteers created a dream bedroom “fit for a pop star” for a very special 13-year-old Breiana and her two younger sisters, Mia and Tiara, in Detroit. When the exciting reveal came, the girls were stunned and speechless. Breiana repeatedly said “My face hurts from smiling!” All three girls and their mom were extremely grateful and wowed by our team’s efforts and the transformation of their room. Our team enjoyed all the thank-you hugs from the girls!

Eleven-year-old twins Elizabeth’s and Alicia’s space was a fun, inspiring experience for the fourteen volunteers who made their dream possible. Watch this exciting video which documents the twins’ project from the first coat of paint to the “reveal.”

A Night For Dreams
Our second annual charity cocktail event will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Bar Louie in Auburn Hills. Join us for an evening of great food, cocktails, raffles, silent auctions, and music with The Pulse. Tickets are $30 and include appetizers, one drink ticket, 2 raffle tickets and more! A Space 2 Dream is an all-volunteer non-profit organization.
Without the help of generous volunteers, A Space 2 Dream would not be able to inspire children and teens. AS2D has many volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages!
- Help makeover a room
- Assist at a fundraiser
- Attend networking events and speak on behalf of AS2D
- Distribute flyers/marketing materials in your community
- Become a member of the AS2D “Dream Team”

Internship opportunities are always available with AS2D. This is a great opportunity for a college student or someone who is re-entering the workforce and needs experience.
