Friends Of Ryan Kennedy (FORK) Memorial Playground and AS2D

A Space 2 Dream is excited to announce our partnership with the Friends of Ryan Kennedy in the creation of a memorial playground at Clintonwood Park in Clarkston.

Ryan Kennedy was a 10 yr-old boy in Clarkston who passed away in May of 2012 after a long battle with brain cancer. Ryan not only touched the lives in the Clarkston Community, but all over the globe. Celebrities such as Brittney Spears started following Ryan on Twitter and his family has been interviewed on television several times including the Today Show.

A group of educators, community leaders, and Independence Township Parks and Recreation formed the Friends of Ryan Kennedy to keep Ryan’s memory alive and to strengthen the community. The first major project is to build a 13,000 sq. ft. play structure at Clintonwood Park. Completion date is 2014 and various fundraising events are underway. Please consider attending an event or purchase a sponsorship of the playground.

“I wanted to tell you what an honor it was to work with you and your
wonderful group on Saturday 9/24/11. I absolutely loved doing it. To
see their faces when we were done was just so humbling and fulfilling
all at the same time.
Thank you so much for allowing me to help and I really would like to
help on future projects as I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed working
with a more loving group of people than all of you. God bless you for
what you give to others.”                    ~Gerry Feld, Room Volunteer
